We are pleased to announce that Ablelink has recently been acquired and will operate under the leadership of Kollen Sussman and Sam Crinall from 2 October 2023, allowing Ablelink founders Jess Stubbins and Cam Burns to gradually step back from the organisation over the next six months.
Ablelink is a highly regarded National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Support Coordination provider headquartered in Collingwood, Victoria. Ablelink employs around 20 Support Coordinators and over its six years of operation has developed a reputation for practice excellence across the sector.
Ablelink will be joining OnSide and One Good* Day, two NDIS intermediary organisations currently led by Kollen and Sam. OnSide is a leading provider of dedicated NDIS Support Coordination across Australia with around 60 permanently employed NDIS Support Coordinators. One Good* Day is the market leader in Psychosocial Recovery Coaching services with a similar sized team of around 60 permanently employed NDIS Recovery Coaches.
OnSide and One Good* Day share Kollen and Sam’s governance attention and some corporate back of house services but each organisation maintains a separate operating structure and identity, a model that Ablelink will continue as it joins the group.
“Ablelink was founded on the principle of high quality and independent NDIS Support Coordination, and we are thrilled that Kollen and Sam will continue with the same dedication to independent, unconflicted NDIS intermediary services” expressed Cam Burns, Ablelink founder.
“Both Sam and I are deeply committed to the principle of dedicated NDIS Support Coordination and intermediary services,” stated Kollen Sussman, OnSide and One Good* Day Director. “While the NDIS market presents its own set of challenges, our vision is to consistently scale our impact. This acquisition is a testament to our intent. The Ablelink team have such a great reputation in the sector, and we are very proud to welcome them to the broader group.”
Customers and partners of Ablelink can expect continuity. The brand, team and customer base will remain intact and will benefit from the seasoned experience of Kollen and Sam, particularly in the areas of corporate governance and management.
Jess Stubbins, founder of Ablelink shares, “We are excited about what this will mean for the future of Ablelink, the team and our customers. As the NDIS matures, the need for scale and experienced governance is paramount to ongoing success. We are very proud of the exceptional team we have built over the last six years and know that they will be well supported and continue to flourish under the new leadership.”
“OnSide and One Good* Day start and end with their brilliant teams of practitioners. As we welcome the Ablelink team, we are now a group of organisations representing a national team of 140 plus NDIS Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches. While these are three separate brands with unique operating structures and cultures, these teams are all focussed on supporting each other, NDIS participants and the NDIS to thrive,” says Sam Crinall, OnSide and One Good* Day Director.
“All three organisations share a vision for the NDIS that aims for the best possible outcomes for participants alongside the overall sustainability and success of the scheme,” adds Kollen.
